"The place is old with charm. We booked it as a bed and breakfast only to show up and they only do breakfast during the summer. Sadly there were only coffee shops with pastries unless we drive to the other side of the island for the one restaurant that served breakfast. It was a bit disappointing."

The gorgeous cozy room was perfect for my solo getaway. "We had a great time at the Islander resort! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub could definitely use some maintenance as the concrete is chipping off. Heat was pretty good. Excited to come back in the summer to access the pool. This is probably where we would choose to stay again. The bar and restaurant were fantastic, with friendly staff and great food. It was so nice to have a restaurant and bar so close. "

"This is the first negative review I have submitted over three decades. I have spent over 20 years staying on Orcas consistently. We have stayed at a lot of nice places, as well as some that were fair. Of these lodgings, this by far does not parallel the photos and falls short at the very bottom of the list. This unit it not to the level we expected. The fireplace glass is complete black and you can't see the flames, which takes several years to get to this point and exhibits the lack of care...
