"Absolutely loved having a room with three double beds, even without a view! Lots of room for luggage, too. Local musicians every night made the trip memorable. The restaurant near the pool has lovely outdoor seating and good food and drinks. Breakfast at Monkeypod was delicious! Beach area was smaller than expected but we preferred beaches other than Waikiki anyway."

"I loved this place. My stay this time involved 2 hotels - this one and another nearby. Unfortunately I spent the majority of my time at the other one when I should have stayed here. I did get lucky to have a balcony on both stays, but there are not many in the building, so beware that you likely will not get one - in which case the room is still big enough, but I do love having a balcony when staying in Hawaii. The great thing is this place does not charge a resort fee - and it is definitely not a resort, but for the millions of times I've stayed in Hawaii, this place was great for the money. I normally stay on the east side of Waikiki - closer to the zoo/Diamond Head - and this was my first time staying this side. It is much quieter on this side. It's a plus/minus - it's wonderful to have it be so quiet and not hear all the garbage trucks in the morning like when you are in the middle/east of Waikiki. But it was also kind of sad to not see/hear/be in the middle of all the action. Both are good depending on the trip. I'd definitely stay here again. All the staff were super nice and welcoming."

"The staffs were nice, my room was clean, breakfast was ok. We didn’t get a chance to visit the pool but the receptionist and the bell man helped us with directions around the city. We will definitely come back again, everything is close the beach, the restaurants etc…"
