Excellent stay and value for money

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Easy to find and only 30 mins drive from OR Tambo airport. Check-in and out was quick and easy with very welcoming front desk staff. The room was very comfortable, a good size and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were also in the room as well as a refrigerator which was put to use. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good night's sleep after a very long flight. The room was quiet with minimal noise heard from outside or the corridor/other rooms. Internet connection was excellent. As with many properties in SA there was gate security. Definitely my 1st choice for accommodation when staying in the area again.

matriculates dance when we arrived. nobody helped with luggage... noice.... the floors to the rooms was dirty and 4am knock on the door ,,, nobody there. terrible stay... will never go back or refer anyone to this establishment .. paid for breakfast .. early anything left when we arrived for breakfast , then bacon is not chewable (both mornings) like eating biltong, fruit on Saturday morning was yeasty... definitely not fresh .. very very very disappointing in hotels.com to have this on your list ,

Disappointed

The Manager on Duty was friendly, but the rooms were very disappointing. They looked nothing like pictures online. We had no bath towels and had to ask for them and the toilet seat in one room was broken. The body wash and shampoo was empty. The breakfast was great, (the best part of the stay) sadly will not be going to the Mecure again

Bom custo beneficio

como joanesburgo tudo é muito longe , acho que vale a pena, quartos limpos, cama boa, ao lado de um mercado, estacionamento disponível sem custo adicional. Otimo custo beneficio uma vez que os hoteis em sandton sao bem mais caros e em 15 min de carro voce está lá.

The staff were really good and friendly from reception, restaurant, bar, room cleaning- all very helpful and the gateman gave everybody that came through his gate , the Thumbs Up sign. Very positive when you arrive as a new guest. Still a few round pin 3 pin plug sockets!!!

Um Mercure abaixo do standard habitual

O standard de Mercure nesta unidade necessita de algumas obras visando melhorias - o hotel começa a envelhecer. O quarto foi o menor dos vários Mercure que já utilizei pelo mundo fora. O lugar é conveniente, de fácil acesso e cerca de um pequeno centro comercial onde podemos ir a pé. A internet Wi-Fi tem boa qualidade e de fácil acesso.

Good for business.

Quick business trip. Nothing fancy about the hotel, but in it's price bracket has no equal. Good, comfortable room. Good shower, bed, wifi and nice and quiet. Location good for my meetings.

The cabinet where the fridge is stored was broken, i booked for 2 people but had toiletries for 1 person for both days in both the 2 rooms i booked. When my family arrived to occupy the next room the lady at reception told tgem i only booked 1 family room for 2 adults and 1 child without checking on the system. Upon my arrival down stairs she said the same thing and when i asked when i showed her the 2 keys she then said you can go. No apology nothing not even checking on the computer. all i got was attitude and eyes rolled on me and my hisband said the lady was really harsh with her.
