Very good accomodations in Johannesburg

I only stayed in this hotel one night but I would have done well to stay there the entire time. Great location (near freeway-access to Joburg and Pretoria), clean, comfortable room with hospitable staff. Plenty of food choices nearby-I recommend if a clean room and nice bed are your basic requirements!

Good Hotel and price in the area

Maybe my mistake, but I thought the hotel was near TOMBO Airport, but it was near another secundary airport in Johannesburg. Everything else was good, they tryed to help me with the transportation from airport to hotel.

Great staff!

My wife and I are Americans who stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks for a combination business and pleasure trip. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. One of them actually took us on a personalized tour of Pretoria. The hotel was most affordable and the breakfast buffet was scrumptuous. We will definitely stay here when we return to Johannesburg next summer.

Good breakfast, friendly staff. Only problem was the elevator was out of order on the last day we were there. Don't know how fast repair service was.

Is not in real good position if you wish to see Johannesburg , but as far as hotel concerned is quite nice , quite position , good service and breakfast , very reasonable price , considering what other hotel asking , and if you want a dinner...........beatiful restaraunt and pub just outside. Tasty food tipical english style. Nice place.

The people were amazing.. Helpful and friendly. The room was lovely. Two issues i had was the wifi was very very slow and the tv programes were awful Other than that i was very happy

Reasonably priced, safe, and conveniently located

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lovely breakfast buffet (at an extra charge). Safety was ensured and there was public internet for a minimal fee. Hotel is in close proximity to the Western Bypass, N1, MI and shopping. Wish there had been more channels on TV including Disney as going out at night with children is hard. All in all, right price and right environment.

Very close to the shopping

The Hotel staff are the main feature that make this hotel worth staying. The Room was clean and good condition but no complimentary water.... otherwise the room is very pleasant. I spent one day doing shopping and the Hotel Taxi was excellent for service and support. Overall reasonable location and facilities

Stayed at hotel because it was close Convention

The hotel is in a good location in Midrand very near the convention center. The staff are helpful, but the internet would be better if it was unlimited, rather than 100 megabytes free and then you need to buy a plan.

Good for buisness.

Good hotel if you are on business but not for tourists as it is in an industrial area. Rooms are OK and breakfast is good although this is expensive for South Africa. Service was excellent until I came to check out and they had made a mess of my friends booking then argued and blamed it on Expedia, in the end they were wroung but did not say sorry.

Poor Location but....

Although the location is not great it works for us. No evening meals means you have to use the limited local facilities or drive 10-15 minutes. Breakfast is fairly good but expensive and the menue stays basically the same, OK if you stay for just 1 or 2 nights but not for longer. Would recomend this hotel if you are on business but not on holiday.

Slow food service but room comfortable

I only made use of the room at night. I did not have any meals at the hotel. I did attempt to order a toasted cheese sandwich and coffee at about 11:00 in the restaurant. The order was reluctantly received. I had to leave a e cancelled 10 minutes later because the preparation of the order had not yet commenced. The last time my toasted cheese sandwich took nearly 2 hours to arrive.

Could not get a good sleep!

Breakfast buffet food is okay, not much to choice. Not very well sound proofed, I can hear everything said on the corridor. The mini fridge is making very loud noise. The water tank of the toilet was leaking all the time. The most annoying problem is that there is a low tone noise from god knows where, I had to wear ear plugs to sleep.
