The rooms were smaller size but decent. The bathroom sink didn't have an electrical plug for hair drying. The A/C worked well. Very clean. I would stay here again.

Friendly staff and good service , however the rooms could be cleaner and the bedding and towels felt hard and not really clean . Carpet was really dirty .

Outdated but value for money

2 nights stay at Cedar woods on business. Check in was fast - access to rooms on uneven pavement - rooms outdated even if clean - shower non practical - noisy despite having ask for a quiet room - restaurant non attractive even if breakfast was ok. Convenient location in that part of JNB - will only come back if I have to stay around Woodmead.

Não existiu estadia! Ao chegar ao hotel fomos informados que o hoteis.com não tinha efetuado a reserva. Como isso após horas de discussão e apreensão, exposição da minha família a uma situação constrangedora. Consegui sensibilizar a gerente do hotel Cedar Woods of Sandton que o erro não foi meu e que não podíamos se deixados ao relento em uma cidade desconhecida pra nós tarde da noite. Com isso, o hotel Cedar providenciou uma estadia em outro hotel em uma acomodação provisória e inadequada ( duas camas de solteiro) no Holliday Inn express ou seja nada haver com o que eu tinha contratado através do hotéis.com. Em resumo, muito decepcionado e insatisfeito com tudo que tive que passar em um período que deveria ser especial para mim, minha esposa e filho. Aguardo uma retratação.

Surprisingly pleasant

At first look when pulling in I did not think I would be comfortable at this location. I was wrong. The shuttle pick-up was on time and they even waited an extra hour plus as I made my way through customs. My room was great, setup in a studio way with the bathroom and shower in the room separated by glass doors. The room was clean and comfortable and exceptionally great considering the costs were so low. I am vegan so not a lot of options at the restaurant but they worked with me in whatever I asked.

Holiday Resort

Excellent service from front desk to restaurant, to house keeping. Leona(front desk) and Lugile(waiter) made our stay even more special. Cedar woods of Sandton has a clean and holiday resort feel to it with a lovely pool area. The location is opposite the N1 therefore practical to move around and central. The menu as well as inclusive breakfast buffet has variety of delicious food. The shower and bath are hygienic. Bear in mind there are no cartoons on the TV and no microwave in the room (but can ask restaurant) should you be traveling with a child. Would recommend it to friends, family and colleagues. Enjoyed our stay!

I Very Nice and Apacious Room

The Room was spacious and very welcoming. The employees were very nice. I was welcomed with two bottles of water and I appreciated that a lot. The packing area was spacious .

Great rooms!!!

The hotels rooms is very comfortable!!! Very spacious. The tv channels is very unclear. and there is no movie magic channels. The breakfast was very nice also, but the roof in the dining area is a bit disappointing. The staff is very friendly at reception and very helpful. Thank you.

Quiet Environment

The hotel is located at a very good location for guest looking for seclusion, quietness, and quality study period. The Hotel staffs are fairly friendly and the rooms are easily accessible, but didn't notice if any of the rooms were disable friendly.

the hotel was excellent but was disappointed with the booking 1stly widout our permission the full aamount was taken out from our account when we go to hotel on the second night of our stay I went to pay our bal the reception asked for room num then she says thats not our room a guy by the name of khumalo booked that room then despite us putting a do not disturb sign on the door the room was still cleaned up
