Bellgrove Guest House is located in a very calm area. The reception upon our arrival was unsatisfactory, we were told that our room was upgraded... when checking the booking, this was not the case. The room deserves to be refreshed, ceilings need a coat of paint. The breakfast was not very good good, lack of variety and quality, however the staff were wonderful. We are surprised by the raving reviews which encited us to book here, the guest house was not as expected.

Excellent service

Latoya was so wonderful and helpful. We arrived lateish and had to leave the next morning and she made sure we had croissants and juice ready to go. Unfortunately we didn’t stay long but would love to come back.

What a jewel!!! They were very helpful from the first call about transportation from the airport (offered to arrange a car but said I should check with Uber who gives individuals better transportation rates). They warmly received us after our overnight flight in the morning long before check-in and served us breakfast and put us right into a room. We had our privacy but readily available onsight management. Very quiet setting. Loved swimming and just sitting by the pool. Breakfast was great, restaurant style not just find your own cold cereal but choices like an omelette or French toast. We have already booked our next stay and I recommend contacting them directly for great rates and service.

A pousada é ótima, porém quando chegamos a recepcionista veio nos dizer, de uma forma não muito cordial, que nossa reserva era apenas 3 pessoas e não 4. Acontece que a reserva efetuada era para 3 adultos e 1 criança. Depois de algum tempo ela disse que não iria nos cobrar a diferença. Foi muito constrangedor até porque nossa reserva estava correta.

The bellgrove, my favourite guesthouse!

The Bellgrove has become my absolute favourite place to stay! Everything about the place is so amazing that I've stayed here a total of 3 times already and am already planning to go back again! From the moment you enter, you're put into a relaxed mood with the beautiful garden and pool. The room offers everything you would need for a comfortable stay from robes, to fluffy linens, a mini bar, kettle, microwave, and a luxurious private bathroom with the best quality soaps! The breakfast that's served in the morning offers a wide variety of delicious options to choose from and its cooked according to your liking. The location is perfect as it's in a really safe neighborhood, has a lot of stores and restaurants nearby and is pretty central to points of interest. My favourite part about the bellgrove is definitely the staff, they're all so friendly and accommodating and they made the stay so pleasant.

The Bellgrove... my favourite guesthouse!

I absolutely loved everything about the Bellgrove and will definitely be staying there again! The garden and pool is so peaceful, the rooms we stayed in the both times were super comfortable and offers everything you need from robes, to soft linens, to a mini bar, microwave, kettle, and a television! The breakfast served in the morning also offered a wide variety of delicious options and is cooked per your liking. The location was also perfect, it was safe and central to a lot of places such as sandton mall and monte casino. My favourite thing about the Bellgrove was the staff members, they were so friendly and inviting... we really enjoyed having conversations with all of them!

Pleasant place to stay. Pleasant staff and pleasant food. My wife and I had a lovely time. It takes a while for the water in the shower to heat up which I found to be quite weird - it never really gets too hot.

Fantastic atmosphere

I booked my parents in for an overnight stay on my father's birthday. The room was wonderful; comfortable, clean and with all the expected amenities. The staff were very obliging and friendly, and the kitchen staff went the extra mile to provide my parents with a Halaal friendly breakfast. The most endearing part was the way they decorated the room with rose petals for my dad's birthday. We met the owners on the day of arrival and they were very warm and welcoming, and we had a most interesting conversation with them over fresh seasonal fruits... At the end of the stay my parents were quite pleased, and have a memory to treasure.

Perfectly Great

I was very lucky to find Bellgrove on my last business trip to JHB. I was please to find that the guesthouse was situated in a security estate with added security of there own. From there it just got better - an upgrade because they were quiet over the weekend - the best mini bar collection south of the border - impeccable room and the owner David is a real gentleman and cannot do more to make you feel at home. The breakfast is served beautifully in delicate surroundings that just makes starting the day a little more pleasant. For the price they deserve full marks for their accomplishments - The guesthouse is situated perfectly just off Rivonia for easy access during all hours of the day.

My company typically books those boring chain hotels for our business trips as they feel the experience is always consistent. This was my first stay in a guest house and it was totally amazing. The service, cleanliness and comfort far surpassed that of your typical chain hotel. I would stay here again at any time. The breakfast was quick, quality and plentiful. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and responsive to my needs. The WIFI was excellent! The location of this property is superb (close to our clients and business partners) and the general area very safe!

Great atmosphere

My two daughters and I stayed for 1 night and we were not disappointed. Everything was top notch and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had the best breakfast ever. The guesthouse is centrally located with the Rivonia village close by. We would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone coming to Sandton.

Awesome accommodation at an affordable price.

It's an incredible paradise in Sandton. Better than I expected according to the information I had. Jacquie, queen, prosperity and David were both friendly and helpful. They really pay attention to all little details to make your stay perfect and relaxing. In addition, I found out an interesting area plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, shops...within a short distance from our guesthouse on foot. Summing up...worth staying there.
