"The shower was dirty with no conditioner or shampoo. The room smelled like smoke, it was loud and too expensive for the quality of the room . The beds were comfy but the upstairs room was loud."

"I have stayed at the Coral Reef many times over the years. It is a classic 1930’s/1940’s motel so things are a bit old. But the price, value, and location are great for a traveler who enjoys a place with character and history. The website suggests they have a “business center,” but they do not have a room with a computer and printer you can access. But the staff at front desk were very helpful and printed out my conference papers for me. I had a great stay"

"This was my absolute worst hotels.com experience hands down. The room was so dirty that I tried to cancel my reservation, a first ever. And I’ve stayed in some funky places but this takes the cake. The furniture had crusty stains like 3-D stains, the remote control was covered in some kind of sticky goo, sheets stained, burn holes in the blanket, bathroom was a nightmare. "We requested a handicap accessible room. When physically checking in, they said the current occupants extended their stay and it was no longer available. The room we had was filled with the smell of secondhand smoke (non-smoking room) and there was a live cockroach."

"The promo picture shows a breakfast area, but in the morning the room was locked. The room was nice and spacious, but the floor was dirty. There was a missing light bulb above the sink. The bathroom had visible mold in the grout. The heater had been removed and not been replaced. The towels were old and worn. The bed was sagging in the center. Although the AC was quiet, the fan could not be turned off (using up a lot of energy.)"
