This place literally had no parking and the nearest public parking lot (which requires a fee) is a 10min walk from the motel. The young boy at the front desk stands in front chain smoking cigarettes literally his entire 8-12hr shift so there's a nice dirty pile of cigarettes to greet you upon arrival. The place itself looks slightly surface clean but the sheets were dirty and unchanged and there was a dead cockroach on the kitchen counter upon arrival plus there's a strong air freshener scent throughout the facility masking the funk beneath. Bring a black light and you will see this place is swarming in dna, and other bodily soils! The sofa was so filthy with strange stains that my husband and I avoided it. This is no vacation nor any type of relaxing trip. I imagine this is only appropriate for youngsters that don't have an apartment to take their cheap date back to. If you're traveling with your spouse or children go with a trusted name like Marriott or Hilton. This place is disgusting!

The best thing about the place was the location, close to the metro and groceries/restaurants. The bad thing was that there was no housekeeping, and we even had to take our trash to the trash room. No room service at all. Our room's fire alarm battery ran out, and it was delayed for a long time in order to replace it. When someone came with a battery, it was not good enough to make it run and they suggested us to turn off the alarm. We also had a slight leak of water from the bathroom ceiling for 1-2 days, but was stopped after 2 nights.

There was often no one at the front desk during business hours as advertised. The room is very small but was clean. There were 3 remotes for the one TV and only one of them had batteries in it and it only worked part of the time. I had to ask for sheets for the sofa bed, which was comfortable. the lamp shade by the bed was broken. The door to the small patio would not lock. The shower head was leaking and sent water all over the bathroom. The towel rack was falling off of the wall. The dining table only had one chair and it was an office chair. The one plus is it is close to the PATH line

I had a room for a night on the 5th floor. It was remodeled and clean. Towels and sheets looked old, but everything in room and bathroom was renovated. Coffee supplies, fridge, microwave, oven, plenty of shampoo, body wash, and a small lotion was provided. Front desk was friendly. They gave access code to enter the building and the room, so felt safe. 3 blocks from Path, easy to walk.

I don't recommend this hotel. It was really poor. No room service and cleaning. I stayed 4 days and no cleaning was done. I asked receptionist for clean, he said only cleaning after 15 days .. that was insane. Also cookware was brought from bin that can not be used any more. overall it is negative and don't waste your money.

Room was clean and cozy. Facilities seem to be new. What I felt uncomfortable was that I actually made two orders in a row, making my stay here from May 26-29 combined. While I had told the staff at reception about this, they went up knocking my door at 11 am trying to rushing us to check out when the first order expired, which made me felt pretty uncomfortable. When I was checking out at 11am at the end of my final order, I politely asked if the front desk could provide a plastic bag for the trash I will bring out. It was meant to be a nice gesture but the staff rebuffed by immediately saying “I’m busy”. Though he had the right to tell me no, I didn’t appreciate attitude m, especially the service industry.

The gentleman that was at the desk when I checked in, didn’t have a pleasant disposition. The following day, the young man that I encountered at the desk was very kind and polite. Unfortunately, we had a room that the door lock was a total disaster. Extremely difficult to get in and out of your room. Then finally we ended up locked in the room. I got a bunch of apologies though I had to pressure them into putting us into a new room. It was a big inconvenience. Other than that, the stay was quite nice.

Im 1. Zimmer tropfte es im Bad von der Decke wenn darüber geduscht worden war. Hatten aber direkt ein anderes Zimmer am nächsten Tag bekommen - das hatte gut geklappt. Anbindung an die Path nach Manhatten ist super direkt eine Straße weiter kann man einsteigen und sie fährt im 5 - 20 Minuten Takt (Rush - Hour - Wochenende) Zimmer war sauber Zimmer Schlüssel ist gewöhnungsbedürtig aber ging Problemlos (Zahlen Codes) In der Ungebung sind kleine Läden und Pizza / Starbucks, apotheke etc zu finden also alles was man braucht in der Nähe Gegenüber war eine Baustelle die uns aber nicht gestört hatte da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren

Located at walking distance from Journal square was a nice to have. Checkin process is not clear in Expedia. I had to call to find out how it worked. Pictures of my suite showed a table and chair that could be used for remote work but my suite didn’t come with it. Sofa bed not comfortable. Bed was pretty comfy and street noise didn’t impact my sleep. Outside terrace hasn’t been cleaned for a while and outdoor furniture looked dirty. Did not use that area. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels and toiletries.

I wanted to share my recent experience, and I would strongly recommend avoiding a stay here for at least the next year. There is major construction happening right across from the hotel, with loud noise starting as early as 7 AM every day. The street is closed to traffic, so guests are required to walk some distance to reach the hotel, and there is no available parking. Additionally, the hotel rooms were not clean, and housekeeping did not provide daily room cleaning services during my stay. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the Journal Square train station, which is within walking distance.
