"Amazing experience. Fabulous setting and just a 10 minute walk into Son village. Spa has everything you need. Suggest booking a suite with balcony. Outdoor Sauna by the Fjord is terrific for the daily Sauna ritual which lasts about 45 mins. Son village is also not to be missed. "

"I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. I give them ten billion stars"

"We had planned to stay at this hotel after driving for 7 hours, but unfortunately our reservation was cancelled just 4 hours before check-in. A staff member kindly called us and did their best to find an alternative hotel, which we truly appreciated. We were also advised to email regarding possible compensation for a future stay. However, we have not received any response. This was very disappointing, as we had been looking forward to our visit. While we understand that unexpected situations can occur, the way customers are treated afterwards makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling reluctant to stay with your hotel again unless the situation is properly addressed."
