"Amazing breakfast buffet for a great price, also opens at 7:00AM (In Korea is not that easy to get food early). The laundry room is pretty good, two machines for washing and two for drying, easy to use. The gym is very basic and not meant for a lot of users at once, but gets the job done. I came in late April so it was still too cold for the pool to be opened, so I can't say much about that. The location is hard to beat, right in front of the ocean, Tapdong park, Black Pork Alley, Shopping center and a few blocks to Dongmun Market. Room was spacious and kept clean. Reception personnl were all great and spoke pretty good English. I stayed at a nearby hotel prior, but likely will repeat the Whistle Lark. A tip: The hotel is called `histle` by the locals so try that pronounciation if your cab driver gets confused with Whistle Lark :)"

"the hotel in the old town and just opposite Gwandeokjeong 관덕정, visit with hanbok wearing. There is hanbok shop jus next to the hotel, that make a perfect day stay. The hotel jus revamped, I don't know how it looked before, it is gorgeous now!"

"The property was close to the market and buses, and the staff were always friendly. No complaints—it was exactly as advertised. Worth noting that it’s not close to many of the nature-related sites (~45 mins to an hour to most), but that’s obvious if you look at the map when booking. "

"The hotel uses self checkin but when I had an issue, a lady immediately came to help. Although she didn’t speak any English, she immediately called an interpreter service and we were able to take care of the administrative things. Room was spacious, good AC, tv, water boiler and even hair dryer. Bed was comfortable too. Overall, it was great value for money and service was outstanding given that I don’t speak any Korean. "

"The only staff we met supposedly the owner. Not seen most of them time. When in need of help, need to call a number at the front desk but never pick up. Room is big but old. Almost got locked in toilet. There was a underwear left by the previous guest. There is simple breakfast though."
