"The hotel hosted a wedding during our week stay without notifying guest until arrival. The infinity pool, beach club, and restaurant was all closed during our stay during this event. On two different nights music was so loud it echoed our room until 2:30am. Staff did nothing to help make our stay better after multiple attempts to speak with managers. Paid thousands of dollars for a terrible hotel experience. Thankfully the island itself is beautiful and we spent our days exploring it. "

"We had a lovely stay in a 3 bedroom villa at Livingston Jan Thiel. We loved that it seemed newly renovated and was very private. We loved our outside terrace with the hammock, couch and eating area. The pool area is lively and a short walk to the beach! The beach passes were great. One disappointment was that there were no laundry services available as advertised but staff recommended M R laundry around the corner and they were great and did the laundry for us for a small fee! The fact that there is a grocery store and restaurants right near this resort is so convenient. The kitchen had things for basic cooking but we would have loved a toaster and baking sheet. Overall I would recommend and we may go back ourselves! "

"The room was clean and Staff was super friendly. Location is oké. If you want to go to the beach it Will take you up too a 10 minute walk. Traveling by bus is also possible. This is easier, because it stops infront of the door."

"We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Goudhaen Luxury apartments. The owners and gracious hosts, Colin and Melissa, made us feel welcome even before checking in as they were very communicative. We loved the location in Jan Thiel and felt totally safe there. Our apartment had the conveniences of home with a well equipped kitchen, and thoughtful amenities for exploring the island. If we ever have the opportunity to travel back to Curacao, we would definitely stay at Goudhaen again. "

"BEST PLACE WE'VE EVER STAYED!! Loeki was the most incredible hostess at this beautiful bed and breakfast. She thinks of every 5 star detail from mint water in the refrigerator to making the most delicious breakfasts including cappuccinos or hot herbal teas, fruit smoothies, delicious pancakes, french toast, omelettes, fresh delicious fruit breads, yogurt bowls with granola, and fresh fruit. Every breakfast was not only healthy abut also most generous in portion size. We skipped eating lunch most days and we'd just eat dinner. Loeki helped us plan our daily schedules with great suggestions for things to see and places to eat. The grounds are gorgeous and our Red Cottage was even better than expected. Loeki connected us with someone to transport us to and from the airport and rented us an electric car for close trips and a gas car if we were going farther. She made everything simple and hassle free. There was no rush to check out at a certain time and we left feeling like we had a new family member in her. I loved that we could walk to the saltpans with the owner's two dogs and see the flamingos. There was a wonderful pool on the property AND the red cottage that we stayed in also had a pool. Why stay at a resort with a hundred other people when you can stay at an intimate bread and breakfast with only a few others! It was a fantastic trip and we can't wait to visit again!
