"Not much to look at from the outside the rooms themselves are clean and well equipped. The lightbulb in a side light wasn’t working but housekeeping replaced promptly the next day when requested. The heater did a great job keeping us warm during a winter break. There were extra fluffy blankets in the cupboard. Bathroom was newly renovated but no sink or shelving in the bathroom so the kitchen works as the bathroom sink. There was no one in reception so check-in was done via phone. The outside barbecue area is well thought out too. Very easy walk to shops. If you go off season just double check where you can get food from and everything’s as closed on the Sunday evening apart from the fish and chip shop (which is very good and has lots of alternative options thank goodness).
I would stay there again."
"It's quite an old building but all you need if you're spending most of your time exploring the area. Facilities were very clean and the place itself well-appointed, everything available that you might need, even tennis racquets for the court there.
Located right beside the Hunt Club and close to the Motor Inn where they have a small general store and good coffee."
"Cabin was prepared ahead of time with heater running since it was middle of winter which added to the welcoming...nice!!!
Great to break away from city life and enjoy the peace.
Very tidy, well maintained and comfortable making our stay enjoyable.
