The property seems very old and need some serious maintenance. The room that we got was having very dim lights, Tv was not working, exhaust fan was not working, no mirror outside the bathroom. Only good thing about the place was that it has good connectivity and was very clean. They followed all covid protocols. Everyone there was fully vaccinated. Food was below average as compared to other places around the area. Hence I would give it 3 star.

Super bel hôtel

A notre arrivée la propreté de la salle de bain laissait a desirer, cerne dans le bain, toilette sale et cheveux par terre mais apres les avoir avise ils ont désinfecter la chambre et tout les jours c'était impeccable. Chambre confortable, petit balcon agreable, piscine magnifique, déjeuner bon et surtout personnel sympathique et serviable. Nous recommandons cet hôtel!

went with extended family for a short holiday and had a pleasant stay. While the property is big, rooms are bit small but comfortable and breakfast spread could be bigger

Awesome stay, highly recommended.

Awesome service. All staff personals were very nice. Pool water was really clean, food was awesome. Had a minor issue of mosquitoes in room and balcony area, but room service guys were prompt to address that. Overall enjoyed my stay so much that I didn't step out of hotel at all after checkin. Completely peaceful ambience. Highly recommended to everyone who want to relax for couple of days from their busy schedule.

Itsy bitsy unpretentious Gorbandh stay

I will start by saying I am easy to please. .. Give me a clean room of comfortable proportions and I take to it. Gorbandh palace was built in 1992 and the property covers a huge area. .. The facade is comparable to any 5-star hotel... The same grandeur is evident at the reception, the dining room, the lawns and party places, the terraces and the pool. There are elegant courtyards all around the property and outside your rooms and that's where the grandeur ends. The rooms are surprisingly small and very disproportionate to the rest of the property.The room size is a regular lemon tree hotel size or smaller probably. For me that was a rude shock especially since the pictures suggested otherwise and i booked it for 3 adults. The room is not big enough for even 2 adults. So here's where the romance ended for me, the washroom was even tinier. It didn't help that the management was lax in ensuring our comfort despite my apparent displeasure at the room. I stayed there for 3 nights since i had booked for 3 nights and despite constant reminders they only provided for tea cups and water for 2 people only even though i paid for the third bed in advance and the additional bed lay in the room as a constant reminder of triple occupancy. And this after i placed a call with Expedia and the rep intervened and assured me that facility would ensure my utmost convenience. On one occasion they forgot me for 20 minutes after handing me the menu, there were only 3 other tables occupied then.

Nice Stay

Its a nice place, with great service. Restaurant team had packed our breakfast as we had to leave early for Udaipur. Packing and food quantity and variety was great. It is in a quite place, very good for relaxing. On the Google maps, it will not show the right place, it is on SAM road.

Not too Old and not too New - Just Right!

The hotel is charming but could do with a clean up - our room was too small for sharing comfortably and dark even in the day time. We could not read in bed the lighting was so poor. However the staff were wonderful and keen to improve the shortfalls. I could easily work with the management to get what we require for our tours. The pool is a real asset in the heat and there are wonderful places for groups to get together inside and outside in the grounds. Food service was slow (but friendly) and the menu could do with an overhaul. After all there are many Indian tastes to explore before offering 'continental' or Chinese style food. I visited a more upmarket hotel close by and decided that the Gorbandh would be the best choice - flexibility won out.

Hotel bien place nous y étions pour le 31 décembre repas obligatoire pour 5500 par personne hors de prix et surtout buffets pas bon par rapport aux autres resto déçu de la soirée fini tôt boisson limite a 2 verres par personne super la soirée !!!!!facturation d une bouteille d'eau au petit déjeuner 3 fois le prix normal oh les voleurs ! Bon souvenir tout de même ....

it was a pleasurable stay at Gorbandh. The staff was courteous and affable. The went out of the way to make us comfortable. The property is well maintained and nicely designed. The hotel being a bit away from the city, it was not possible to eat outside. The food at the restaurant was a bit too spicy to eat. The children found the food very hot. Overall, it was a memorable stay.

Ruhige Hotelanlage

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Hervorzuheben ist die erstklassige Poolanlage, die geradezu zum baden einlädt. Obwohl ich zu früh ankam, stand das Zimmer bereits zur Verfügung. Eine eindrückliche Hotelanlage. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder wählen, auch wenn es ca. 2km von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfert ist.
