The hotel's ambiance stood out, the traditional haveli architecture was stunning. The staff at the front desk particularly Mohan were exceptional. The room was spacious, we had few minor issues with the storage locker and the bathroom soaps not being refilled. The food at the hotel's restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was a good mix of Rajasthani, south Indian and continental options

We ended up having to change rooms as did our friends. Initially our friends changed due to a funny smell in their bathroom. Our room was beautiful and clean but after returning from dinner it smelled terribly of smoke. The staff were very courteous and kind and quickly moved us to another room. We’re not sure if cigarette smoke from outside somehow drifted into the room. The next room was nice but faced the street where stray dogs barked all night and the mattress on the bed was worn and sunk in the middle. We didn’t sleep a wink the first night. The 2nd night the dogs were quieter which helped.

Wonderful Experience

We stayed at this hotel from 31/07/25 to 03/08/25 and had a wonderful experience. The ambience and décor are truly amazing…you have to see them in detail to fully appreciate the beauty. The rooms are spacious with a very good shower. The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and respectful, which made the stay even more comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, and we chose to have dinner at the hotel as well. The food was delicious, with a traditional style that we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, a memorable stay with warm hospitality and excellent service.

This is a great place to stay in Jaipur. It’s away from the most hectic part of the city and has a lot of character and charm. The staff are great, and the dinner performance is also a special addition to the stay.

I loved my stay at Umaid Mahal! Would recommend it! Apart from the noise (coming from the property next door primarily dogs barking in the middle of the night), it was excellent. Staff was helpful and kept the place clean especially in areas of high traffic.

The hotel was very clean and had a nice spacious room. The area around the hotel is okay. There are some restaurants but not a ton. Breakfast was difficult here if you want to start early morning as there was no buffet due to not enough guests and restaurant doesn’t open till 7am. Very limited to no breakfast options before 8am in the area as well. Hotel only gives you 2 small bottles of water per day and you have to call each time you want filtered water to the room. Very little to no amenities for what hotel is charging. Room was clean and spacious but that was about it.

An excellent hotel with a tasty recreation of the classic Haveli style of art and furnishing. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The roof top restaurant served excellent Rajasthani and other cuisine along with folk music whilst the breakfast downstairs was good. All members of staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant - we will be back for sure.

Beautiful

A beautiful heritage hotel. Very well keep hotel with a lot of history in it. Roof top restaurant with nightly entertainment. Breakfast buffet and a bar too. Staff was very accommodating and willing to help with all of our questions
