"There were several major issues during our stay at this hotel. Food hygiene: Throughout our three-day stay, the breakfast area was overrun with flies. They were landing on food en mass and staying there, especially on the uncovered breads and pastries. After observing for nearly an hour, one staff member told another to “zap” the flies. "It is a heritage palace property so expect some old things like metal keys and padlocks for your door, and limited plug ins, but what you get in return is breathtaking! One of the best experiences of our travels! "

""A humble budget hotel" describes it more honestly than the hotel describes itself online. It isn't a "heritage" hotel, that's just the parent company name. The room was clean enough and the shower was good. Only two pillows for a kingsize bed. The Wi-Fi was non-existent and un-secured. The restaurant is small, dark, and windowless. The food is okay.
