"The front desk clerk is all always friendly when I come there. When you are a usually she remember faces. I always stay at this hotel when I am passing through Walterboro SC. The lady that pick up the towels and sheets was very friendly too. I usually don't do reviews but I thought that this will help the next person."

"We had 2 bicycles, which we won't leave on the car rack overnight. Our room was conveniently just inside the back entrance, so it could not have been easier. Good restaurant downtown, excellent stay."

"The room was clean and adequate and appeared recently removated. Bed was comfortable. Airconditioning, though, did not cool during the night. (Ambient room temp app showed 78 degrees when we had the conditioner set on 68.). Areas of the ceiling had water stains in the room as well as the bathroom. Freezer section in fridge had too much frost. And, for a request (and paid) for a handicap/acessible room, we were on the second floor and my husband had a hard time climbing the stairs. "Pool advertised, was not available. Bathroom off Lobby had Out of Service sign on it , was only locked. Poor focus for a hospitality organization."

"Made a reservation by Expedia. When I arrived I asked for a first floor room because I handicapped and have trouble with stairs. The clerk said everyone wants first floor. You have a cheap rate from your reservation so it will be ten dollars extra CASH for first floor. This seems inappropriate to me to charge extra for people who cannot handle stairs. At least if there is a fee for being handicapped, it should be disclosed in the listing on Expedia"

"I would stay here again and again. I love the ambiance and charm of the historic home which still shines through along side the luxurious updates in the beautiful bathroom, soft rugs, comfy bed. They have thought of everything and provided a beautiful space to enjoy it in. Games, toiletries, coffee, water, an honor wine bar upstairs. I cannot wait to go back. "Beautiful property near riverfront. Our cabin was definitely tired looking but really large. There was mold in shower and the breakfast was not good. However despite these issues it was a good stay."

"The room was comfortable free of pests! The sofa in the room appeared to be stained with blood which made me afraid to even use it! The major issue with property was I requested service from housekeeping 4 different times before it was ever done! Why am I paying to stay in a hotel if they can't even perform basic service requests!"
