"Check in was slow and tedious. But got there eventually. Room as expected. Large, perfect balcony bay view. Clean and fresh. Good bathroom. Nice robes and slippers. Staff friendly and attentive. In all agreat break. Food good too. "

"Spa felt a little out dated and felt like a swimming pool. Not a spa retreat, if I paid for a spa retreat I would have been unhappy. Stream room very basic… as an example. Parking not enough space must have been an event on. Staff very friendly food was amazing golf course very good but slow on kernow course and effected game"

"Second stay at this lovely independent hotel. Even better than the first stay as no issue with a squeaky bed this time and everything else was as good as before. Great location near The Hoe and a short walk down to the city centre. Brought my car this time and parking was no problem. All staff, both on reception and at breakfast were happy and smiling, which costs nothing but makes a big difference. Look forward to returning. "
