"Location is great for Kings Canyon and Sequoia Natl Park-one hour away. Great little short trips to see beautiful scenery is nearby too, and plenty of wineries if that's what you prefer. Breakfast was ok with cereal options, fruit and breakfast bars too. The hair dryer didnt work, but I never reported it or asked for a replacement. The mattress sank in the middle, but the place was clean and just fine to rest my head at the end of the day. Defintely an above average clean place to stay but...

"I had hoped Motel 6 had improved over the years and gave them a try. To start I had to pay a 60.00 cash deposit at check in. I questioned why and the woman became hostile and informed me that I could go somewhere else if I didn’t like this ‘policy’. This is above the room charge which had already been paid. I insisted on a receipt and did get this back when we checked out. Got to the room to find it was bare, very dark lighting and filthy floor. Cooling system only kept it tolerable. Bedspreads...
