"Beautiful old Japanese style hotel. Aromatic wood everywhere. Great onsen (indoor hot spring mineral bath) experience. Spotlessly clean. You will sleep on mats on the floor but they are quite comfortable."

"Authentic Japanese ryokan experience. Limited English among the staff, only the owners and a general manager speak English, but it did not hinder our experience at all and the service was super friendly. We loved the vintage cable car that takes you up to the rooftop onsen bath, which has an amazing view of tranquil Ito. "Super clean, well maintained, well organized, exceptional service. Very traditional facility, oozing its golf heritage. Dining options are upscale. Ito city is a short can ride for small casual dining - sushi, sashimi, fish for reasonable price. The courses are beautiful and well deserving of the reputation. "
