"I asked to move rooms because the carpet was so gross on the first room I checked into and it smelled bad. The whole place needs TLC, updating, new flooring and paint. I used to attend monthly meetings here and had family stay at this hotel when they were in town. It's not what it used to be."
"The room could have been cleaned better and the bathtub was old and grimy. The room could’ve been cleaned more thoroughly. The dresser and other items still had debris underneath them.
The linens were OK and everything else was in working order not my best hotel stay I didn’t want to or feel safe to take a shower or a bath"
"The property is beautiful and spacious. We loved the adults only pool, the walk up to the waterfall, and sitting eating breakfast outside and having a glass of wine by the fire inside at night. Perfect romantic getaway."
"Room was ok. Bathroom trash had not been taken out from prior guest and had to asked front desk multiple times for towels for the pool area. We were told we could not have outside food or alcoholic beverages, however several other guest did and nothing was said to them at the pool. If this is policy, it would be nice to have it enforced accordingly and not to just a few guest. "
"The room was very nice. Clean, cool, well maintained. The parking was fine, elevators worked, ice machine worked, staff came in and cleaned as expected, no complaints.
The toilet paper was the worst I've ever seen, though.
My biggest complaint? The DirecTV was unwatchable. Every channel glitched every 20 seconds, I think from a signal dropout or something. Every10 minutes or so of this, the TV screen went to a screen that said something about loss of signal due to inclement weather or whatever, call the front desk. A power reset of the DirecTV box was needed, and after several minutes of rebooting, the glitchy service proceeded for 10-15 minutes until the loss-of-signal screen reappeared.
My partner called the front desk, they sent up a guy who SPOKE NO ENGLISH! Is this customer service? It sucks. My bi-lingual partner tried to explain, he reset the box (AGAIN!) and said to call if it repeats.
Surprise, IT REPEATED!
He returned and replaced the cable box, and we continued to watch unwatchable cable TV, glitching every 20 seconds, for the rest of the night.
I was VERY unsatisfied with this aspect of the stay. Obviously, most folks don't check into a hotel to watch TV, but if this is an amenity, it ought to work.
All else was fine, but this aspect was ridiculously disappointing."
"Mount Lemmon Lodge is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Parking was a little tight but doable. The town is small so all the restaurants/stores are in walking distance. The drive up has breathtaking views. Lots of viewpoints to stop at along the drive up. I do suggest you stock some snacks/food and drinks because the restaurants close at 4-5:00pm, except for the Bread and Beyond which closes at 7pm. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely recommend this lodge if you’re visiting Mount Lemmon."
