"A lovely oasis outside the main tourist areas yet still close enough to walk to everything. I’d read the reviews about the “rough” neighbourhood, but while it is not picturesque, it always felt safe. The hotel has loveky bright rooms, and is scrupulously clean. We loved having a private ground floor patio with its own lemon tree! There were some wifi issues during our stay, but not specific to the hotel. "Lovely appointed hotel, very peaceful, convenient and with secure parking. We used this hotel for a 2 day stop over, before catching the ferry to Santorini. Could not get a more luxurious and convenient hotel for the ferry!! "We stayed one night before catching an early (6am) flight. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. It is central, and so there was street noise for much of the night so if you want quiet choose somewhere else."

"Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the central area of Heraklion. The area does feel sketchy because of where it’s located but it’s a really safe area. There’s a lot of restaurants and stores that’s only a few minutes walking distance from the hotel which was nice.
