"Spacious, clean and quiet room with a Japanese style bathroom (Spa!?). Easy check in and check out at 11am (self or staff). A convenient location, 5min (cab)from JR Wakayama, half a block from the main street where all Izakaya, restaurants, bakery and convenience stores are. Walking distance from JR Wakayama. Friendly staffs on site!"

"The room was clean but very dim lighting. there was an Elvis statue next to the stair and some kind of pirate statue in front of the door when opened. There was very little shops nearby, it is walkable to the train station."

"Budget friendly hotel near the train station.
Good location if you need to take the ferry to Tokushima in the morning.
Nothing special about the room but the breakfast was enjoyable. "

"I had a great stay; however, the decor leaves much to be desired. I have stayed at hostels with better decor. The room looked very tired and outdated. The tiles in the bathroom need new grout. The bedspread had a hole in it as if a previous guest had burnt it. "

"The room at the Washington was spotless. The service was outstanding. They even had English-speaking staff available for visitors to check in with super quickly. I loved it. We'll stay there again."
"The staff was generous, kind, friendly, spoke English very accommodating. The hotel was clean. Everything worked precisely even the guests were mannerly."
"The hotel offers all night onsen bath, as well as complimentary ice popsicles and mini ice cream treats for you to enjoy after taking a bath (or not). Also provides complimentary soba noodles at 9:30 pm (last for maybe two hours) on 1/F. Excellent service overall and definitely will stay here again in the future."
