Food was excellent and staff were so cordial it beat all of my expectations. "Rooms are not clean, the pictures show they are not cleaned properly and are showing significant signs of age. Watched them do a clean of an adjacent room in a few minutes, they need to actually clean the rooms properly and do some maintenance as the appearance shows many marks, stains on walls and areas they just don’t bother to clean."

"The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah. There is a quaint little bridge with a water stream underneath too. The staff is very friendly and go out of the way to be helpful to guests. We needed our breakfast ready 30 minutes before time...

"This hotel wants to be a luxury property but it is not. The main problem is the noise. The windows of the room can open and the mechanisms to keep them close don't do a great job, so you hear ALL the noise coming from the street: every motorcycle going by, every honking car, dogs barking, all of it! You will not have a good night sleep at this property. Save your money and go to a much cheaper place that will give you the same experience. This place is definitely not worth the premium. While I...
