"Room and grounds were exceptionally clean. The staff was VERY helpful. Food was outstanding. I would consider a meal plan if we go back. Cons: (1) Small tv sitting on the only counterspace along with a coffee and expresso machines. (2) Bedding was too heavy (could not lower the temperature enough to sleep comfortably). Bedding was a comforter inside a sham which couldn't be taken apart. (3) no microwave, I mean, we like to pop corn on some nights. Overall, hotel is very nice, however the negatives would keep me from staying again."

"This hotel should not advertise as a Wyndham property… It is misleading. The locals know this property to be Hotel Beló. Their signs even say that as well there were only two functioning restaurants with limited options that didn’t change over our five day stay. The AC in our room worked sporadically. They had to move us to another room to sleep one of the nights, their hot tubs, and Jacuzzis are above ground units that had black rings around them the pictures of their private beach make it seem like it spans further than it actually does, no one even went in the water there. Albert and Hugo deserve a shout out for their great customer service and friendliness. I feel like the staff knew that they had a subpar hotel they were working at, but made the best out of their situation. I will say that whatever fragrance they used in the hotel lobby was the best and most inviting thing I’ve ever smelled! I felt a little taken a back at our checkout process. They made us remain at the front desk while someone checked the room to make sure we didn’t take anything or destroy anything. I have never been asked to do that before."
"We had a wonderful stay at MÍA Reef and absolutely loved the location. Being at the end of Playa Norte and surrounded by beautiful turquoise water made the resort feel completely different from a typical hotel. The beach and views were easily the highlight for us, especially being able to enjoy the water and then come right back to the resort.
We really enjoyed the all-inclusive experience, the food and drinks, and being able to relax without having to plan every meal. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We also loved being close enough to explore Isla Mujeres while still having a peaceful place to come back to.
The property could use some updating in a few areas, and there were a few little things that could be improved, but none of that outweighed the location and overall experience for us. Isla Mujeres was beautiful, and MÍA Reef gave us some great memories. We would definitely consider staying here again."
"Paradise. The hotel room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It's a small hotel right on the beach so don't expect fancy resort-style amenities. We came for the beautiful beaches and were blown away by how simple it was to get to the ocean from our room. The staff was extremely friendly and they even cleaned our room every single day, which I did not expect. They do not offer beach towels so make sure that you bring your own. But the room even had shampoo and soap. It's an absolute great hotel on the perfect part of the island. Everything is walking distance, even supermarkets and tons and tons of local restaurants that are absolutely delicious."
"Everything about this property was lovely! From the moment we got there the staff was very friendly. Day two we noticed AC was not cooling down very well, it was fixed right away. They helped us get a golf cart for a day. They arranged for our taxi to pick us up to take us to the ferry on departure day. The pool was perfect after a beach day! It overlooked the ocean and was just beautiful. There's an outdoor pool bar right near the main pool. There are three pools in total. The rooms were clean and simple. Had everything you needed. Shower was hot! The entire hotel was as pictured and within walking distance to everything you need! Playa Norte was a short 5 minute walk. We will definitely return and would highly recommend"
"Absolutely gorgeous
