"I had a lovely stay at the Talbot Hotel Midleton in Cork. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed. The highlight was definitely the leisure centre – the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were a real treat. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at both the restaurant and bar was tasty. The location is great too – close to the train station and ideal for visiting Fota Wildlife Park, beaches, or Cork City."

"Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. "

"After a long flight, we were very happy to be able to rest in this beautiful place. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions. We arrived quite late, 6:30pm in the evening. We ate at the Avalon restaurant for supper at 7pm. The meals were wonderful. The breakfast the next morning was wonderfully good and very filling, if you have the option to pick the breakfast included in your stay, I would highly recommend it.
