Stayed in the family and friends suite. Biggest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Family loved it. Very convenient water dispenser. Hot, cold and warm water. Roomy bathroom with tub and shower. Close enough to Ipoh center. Far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

Three night stay.

Fair accommodation for the price. Bed was comfortable enough, and shower water pressure was good. Room a reasonable size. Breakfast was average. Room was noisy (street noise, and neighbours). Operable lifts were insufficient for peak times.

Room is reasonably clean. No carpets. Did Not even provide bottled water. Location is not ideal. No food places nearby. For a hotel in Ipoh, at the price charged, I can get similar or better in Kuala Lumpur. Never again.

I booked this hotel partly due to the laundry facility. Unfortunately it was down during my 4 days stayed and the staff told me under maintenance. And it was not done till I checked out.

Overall a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, The air-conditioning was very good. Their in-house WiFi was somewhat unreliable at times. It was a little inconvenient for self parking guests. Each time you exited the basement carpark, you would have have your ticket/card validated at the front desk before going to your car. It would be better if they could provide guests with a parking pass for the duration of their stay.

Just recently reopen after extensive renovations, the hotel was undergoing trial period and still lacking the necessary amenities. The electricity in the deluxe room allocated to us could not be switched on and the front staff had to transfer us to another room.

What can I say? All lifts were not working at 6am on the morning of my departure date. I had to walk down 8 floors with a 20kg suit case in order catch my flight.

The property itself was excellent. My room had a beautiful view of this beautiful city. It was quiet. Breakfast buffet was very good. The problem is the location. I like to walk and I asked the front desk if there were any convenience stores or food outlets within walking distance. I was told no. I took Grab to get around no problem. But I also looked at a map and started doing some walking. Turns out you can get to a lot of good shopping and eating areas no problem such as Greentown and Ipoh Parade. Just need to be willing to walk a bit. But caution, there are no sidewalks.

Hotel package was advertised to have free breakfasts dusting time of booking but was told no breakfasts at checkin. Room was not soundproof but advertised as sound proof. A lot of noise came from traffic below and from room above. Booking was made thru Expedia website in US and was asked to provide screenshot of hotel offer during time of booking while the visitor had arrived at the hotel property thousands of miles away from US, in Ipoh.
