"Price was high due to the College World Series. Otherwise I think this hotel at a normal rate would be a great option. It was cozy, ac blew hard, and close to the stadium to avoid parking lots. Plenty of places to eat nearby as well."

Price Gouging the opening nights led me to stay on the outskirts but I don't really recommend that unless you are staying with some buddies for a night until you can get closer to downtown. All hotels are overpriced the first week of the MCWS so it is a give and take. Hotel was not able to keep up with the flow of fans coming and going; they were understaffed so I waited until 5:15 to have a room.
