"The place was okay at beast. Nothing stood or good/bad. Would probably stay again if in a pinch. "

"I found the toilet had not been thoroughlyu cleaned, and small bits of fecal matter stuck to thesides of the stool. Could have been easily cleaned with a swish from toilet brush. Alsdo, bathroom sink faucet handle came off first time I used it because the set screw in back was loose, and needed tightening. No big deal, but my plumbing tools are at home. Other than that, things wsere great."

"GrandStay was highly recommended by area friends. They were spot on! The staff was welcoming and helpful, but never intrusive. Breakfast offers several choics for different appetites. The room was sparkling. The pool and hot tube were clean and pleasant, and open late enough to use after a business meeting. The location is very convenient to Rock Valley. Five stars all around! "

"This place was horrible! Staff at front was ok, but the hotel was in bad shape. The room was terrible, floors and walls marked and stained, furniture looked like came from the dump. Mattress old, and uncomfortable, and black mold on ceiling, pretty bad too. I an wife slept on top of blankets, afraid to get in sheets. Room and halls smelled like cigarettes. "They are renovating and staying open. The rooms were beautiful on the floors we stayed on—they are finished. There is no lobby. While we stayed we found no hot water at 10:00 pm when we went to shower after a day of ball games outside. We went to front staff to inquire. Ended up spending 1 1/2 hours helping staff go thro hotel looking if other vacant rooms Had water. Never found any. About to relocate to another hotel when hot water came back.
