Typical tourist hotel

Overpriced for the quality. Rooms have been reconfigured to increase guest density. Bathroom has clear-view windows into bedroom, removing all privacy.

Lichtdurchflutetes, sehr geräumiges Eckzimmer

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit einem Drink nach unserer Wahl. Unser Eckzimmer lag im 4. Stock und war sehr geräumig und durch die vielen Fenster sehr hell. Das Hotel mit vielen Verwinklungen hat einen ganz eigenen Charme. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig. Zum Kongress-Zenter waren es zu Fuss nur ca. 8 min. Die Rezeption des Hotels ist nicht 24h besetzt. Im Gebäude gibt es auch eine Bar. Kleiner Minuspunkt: ich habe den Zimmernachbarn durch die Wand schnarchen hören.

Service was average after having experienced different parts of Switzerland. The strange thing about the layout of the room was lack of power sockets to charge devices. Amenities were basic but comfortable. Restaurant staff service was good. Overall rating of 2.5.

good location

this is an excellent hotel.I took late train from Zurich to Interlaken. It was already mid-night by the time I arrived the hotel. The reception lady was waiting for me. This is excellent. Otherwise, I'll problem in getting in. The hotel is a bit old but clean and tidy. Small balcony with a good view. Service is good. The location is good which is only a few minutes walk for the train station.

Huge Room and wonderful stay....

We had a fantastic stay in the Carlton-Europe...wonderful staff, great location and huge room. Very comfortable stay....We had a lovely outlook of the mountains, however, weather was not kind.....

Altehrwürdiges Haus, sanft und stilvoll renoviert

Freundlicher und aufgestellter Empfang an der Desktop. Geschmackvoll renoviertes Zimmer unter Respektierung der historische überlieferten Inneneinrichtung. Sanitärtechnik im Bad auf neuestem Stand und sehr sauber. Gut geschlafen trotz Nähe zum Bahnhof und Strasse. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet und guter Service. Für mich gerne wieder einmal eine gute Adresse.

인터라켄 오스트역에서 매우 가깝고 큰길가에 있어서 찾기쉬웠습니다. 스텝들도 친절했지만 3성급인데 비해 넘 비쌌고 건물이 오래돼 클래식한 느낌은 좋지만 방음이 넘 안됐습니다.

Great Location and service!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Interlaken and at the Hotel Carlton, that we stayed one extra night, which the did there best to accommodate us. The Location was ideal and an easy walk to the center of the small town. There was a nice restaurant adjacent to the hotel with a nice bar a patio overlooking the main road and all the action. Our room had a nice balcony on the back side which was quiet with a wonderful view of the mountains.. We also had an updated bathroom and the room size was quite large for European standards.. For the price we paid I would highly recommend this hotel and although it is only a 3 star rating it was all we needed for this cute and charming town with sooo much to do and see.

AMAZING STAFF! STUNNING BREAKFAST

The staff are truly amazing and go above and beyond to help you. The breakfast is the best i have had in the region! The rooms are tiny, beds are very hard and the showers are a battle of trying to move in a TINY area. Most of the time you are trying to not tough the shower curtain. Please advise if you are going in summer months, avoid as there is NO AC and the rooms get hot. This is a very very very simple room and should not be a 3 star. But the staff and breakfast are 5 star.

חדר ענק בעל כל הנדרש ממלון. החדר נקי, הצוות מקסים, עונה ועוזר ככל יכולתו. חניה במחיר סמלי. אינטרנט חינם במהירות סבירה. ללא מזגן - בעיה בימים חמים. מיטה נוחה.

Nice location!

Service not bad but can be better, room is a bit old but clean. Nice view from room, nice loaction no need 5 mins to train station. warm reminder: Sunday no supermarket! Buy your thing on Sat!

Wonderful experience !!

A really nice hotel with big room space and beautiful surroundings. The location is very convenient and it is just a 5-minute-walk from Interlaken OST station. The staff of the hotel is really nice and helpful. Will definitely consider again when visiting next time.

Great location

This is a lovely charming little hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was a great size with a huge ensuite. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it is easy to walk in to town from here and it is literally 200m from the train station. Fantastic.
