"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. "A lovely friendly traditional hotel. A lovely historic coaching inn on what was once the highway through Amesbury. A short drive to Stonehenge and walks close by along the very beautiful River Avon. The room was spacious and the shower good. Very quiet. Good value. "
