"Nicest hotel in the area. Clean and beds were comfy. Friendly staff. Didn't get to try the restaurant, but the food other guests were munching in looked really good. There are a lot of homeless people in the area. We didn't have any issues during this stay, but we have had completely unprovoked hostile encounters with them in this area in the past."

"When we arrived our room had not been turned over. Staff gave us sheet to replace them ourselves. Room itself was renovated lovely and the breakfast selection was good."

"This is a perfect location for site seeing. Walkabouts to Dr. Pepper museum, silos, magnolia. Short drive to bridge over the Brazas and the long horns, and Texas Rangers museum."

"We usually stay at the sister hotel across the courtyard, called The Even. Properties are very comparable. This visit the Cambria was a few dollars less expensive so we thought we would give it a try. Beautiful hotel and either one is a great stay. But The Even has a leg press in the fitness room that is very important to my spouse. I felt the rooms at the Cambria, were a little more polished and comfortable. I will probably continue to stay at whichever hotel is less expensive."

"The breakfast was amazing; staff very friendly and took care of our needs. Acutally, went out of the way to make us feel cared for. The woman at the front desk was so friendly. We were there on July 4th celebration and she was out in the parking lot making sure others weren't taking the guests spots. She had so many reactions with the guests, made them feel welcome and valued. Will be back!"

"Absolutely disgusting. Stains on the sheets and towels. Floors were wet. Manager seemed shocked when I said I would not stay here and asked for a refund. Do not stay here. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this hovel down."

"WHEN I ARRIVED AFTER DRIVING FOR 2 HOURS I FOUND OUT THE ROOM THAT I BOOKED ON LINE DOES NOT EXIST!!!!!!!!!! THE ROOM WE WERE ACCOMADATED WITH HAD AN AC THAT LEAKED WATER ONTO THE FLOOR SO BAD IT GOT ALL OVER OUR BAGS. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AND WISH I COULD GET SOME MONEY BACK."

"All in all the room was fine, and seemed clean enough, but the entire hotel smelled of weed. It won't be my choice the next time I am in Waco. I think most of the people staying there were bit rough around the edges."

"We got to town early and also had family coming to stay at the hotel too. We called to make sure we could go ahead and check in. Yes we could 👏 We get there and no one is working the desk with a bathroom post it on the counter. Waited 30 minutes before someone ever came to the desk. We go over the details, and that we called about our family and wanting a close room etc. the guy leaves to go see if the rooms are clean and comes back and says we have to switch rooms so we won’t be close but...

"Person who checked us in was very nice. But our room smelled really badly of mildew. I thought it was just from it being cleaned with a dirty mop, but the floor wasn’t wet, and the smell never went away all night and in the morning. It may be deep in the rug or something. They need to check out room 201."
