"We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range...

The room has a closed up / mold smell and the carpet is very dirty, both of the windows curtains didn’t close properly and there is a cold air draft along the floor area, I did notice form along the entire baseboard area of the room. "Hotel and property was very clean. Room was clean and air/heat worked perfectly. Easy check in, check out. Breakfast was adequate but they could change up the eggs from the synthetic omelets to some scrambled."

"The good: Room was clean, bedding clean. Looks like it was updated recently, has new sink, new toilet, nice lighting with push button adjustment in bathroom. Had nice fridge that kept our food and drinks ice cold. And decent room size microwave. Air conditioner worked great! Shower head pressure was just ok but did the job. The view from hotel of mountains was beautiful, restaurant right next door. Quiet area, and lady at front desk was very nice and hospitable. Within mile or less or town....

"Great location right outside of Luray for an affordable price. Very quiet and easy to check in. We called and got our door code and we were in earlier than our check-in time. The rooms had clearly been remodeled recently with updated flooring, paint, furniture, etc. The sheets and towels were lacking though. It doesn't seem like they upgraded the towels since they upgraded the rooms. Very thin, very small. The door that connected to another room had a very wobbly doorknob which made it feel...

"This is a cabin resort depending on the room level. Rustic but you ARE in a national park so to be expected. If in the traditional or cabins, you walk up the hill to the dining room/bar. There are 2 short (1.5mi) right at the lodge"

"This is a pet friendly hotel. I wish this hotel and many would designate rooms for pets so people can stay in a room without lingering odor. Update old air conditioner to central air and heating. Heater is slightly loud when on. Otherwise a clean hotel and staff very helpful to accommodate. Bed was comfortable. "
