"Arguably one of the loudest Hotels I have ever stayed in. Maybe it was the room location, since I was on the first floor down a bit from the lobby. It wasn't particularly the people staying in the hotel that were loud, just normal everyday actions were loud. (Someone clearing their throat, coughing, regular conversation or normal T.V. volume, etc.) Even in my room, the doors that that would connect two rooms together, you could see light coming from the next room through it. "The hotel is newly opened, so everything was very fresh and clean, and the staff was friendly."

"Light and outlet over the sink was not working. Room hall light did not work. Door from parking lot to hotel was inoperable. Floors in bathroom were not clean. The fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night for about 30 seconds. The breakfast was good."

"I travel for work, so I stayed there for 3 nights and they did not clean my room. I even requested the front desk on the 2nd day to get my room cleaned but still no housekeeping was done. I paid $500+ for 3 nights, this hotel is not worth that much."

"This hotel opened its restaurant at 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, for breakfast for guests who were booked for a train excursion that boarded at 7 a.m. What excellent service. We talked to other people who had stayed at other local hotels and were told that some hotels did not alter their hours to accommodate this important event (the train ride to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States). Kudos to the Doubletree in Newark, Ohio."

"All was clean and great with the room. Two complaints are that there wasn’t a closet or any hangers to hang my clothes up for the next day. The lighting in the main room, with the beds, was almost nonexistent."

"The staff was very attentive, we used the pool and enjoyed it very much. Not too warm but very comfortable. Our room was very clean and the shower was perfect! Just enough water pressure. We enjoyed the breakfast, food was kept warm and the woman working the kitchen was very pleasant. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area. "
