The pool Temperature was too hot. There were not enough instructions in the room to use the television remote. Instructions on how to use the hot tub would have also been a positive item to have.

When I arrived there was a gentleman smoking marijuana outside the building. While in the lobby another resident was complaining that his tv wasn't working little did I know mine wasn't working either. I called the front desk and I was told to unplug it and plug back in. That didn't work either. The room door didn't have that extra security thing that's usually on hotel doors when it's being occupied by a guest so I really felt uncomfortable. The door was filthy. The floors was filthy with hairs and can tell that it hasn't been mopped or swept. The room had a moldy mildew smell. The chair had a red or pink stain on it. The front desk clerk was kind the room just wasn't up to par. I took pictures of everything.

The beds appeared to not have had the sheets changed. The room also smelled bad. The front desk attendant was kind and understanding. She assisted me by providing a room change. I was ready to leave and try to find another hotel. It is possible, that due to the floods in the area, housekeeping was interrupted, however, I did not pay for unclean , skept in sheets.

The front desk staff was AMAZING and the best part of our stay. The room itself was a bit disappointing. I had booked a suite, which has meant a separate bedroom and living area at every other similar place I’ve stayed at. Here, however, it’s just a slightly larger regular room. The TV signal went out frequently and the fridge took forever to chill anything. The furnishings were somewhat shabby…torn coverings on desk chair and sofa pillows, etc. It was not a bad stay by any means, but definitely not worth the $250 we spent.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The pool was very cold, the “hot tub” was not hot at all. The sheets on my bed had a (what looked like) blood stain on them. At breakfast they had no plates, and were unwilling to find more because “breakfast was closing in 15 min”

Exceptional customer service
You don’t find customer service like this anymore. Every single staff member we came in contact with were amazing. The morning desk employee & manager on duty were exceptional!!! Pool was clean, rooms were clean, breakfast area was kept clean.

Great staff. Very limited breakfast offerings. No decaf cafe or teas except green tea. creamer was curdled, and the only fruit was three apples, two of which were totally bruised.

Hot tub in room was in need of panel replacement where you go on to work on the tub. The paint or enamel was worn off all sides. Exhaust fan didn't work over tub so they give a humidifier. Was okay except the room got extremely humid even with the ac and ceiling fan on. Also the ac was really loud and sounded like an airplane taking off. The breakfast was very little to eat due to a front counter staff members family bringing in about 12 children. They were running around the room and was extremely loud. Went and bought food to eat and stayed in my room instead both breakfasts i was there for. People in room above was running in the room non stop till 5am all the nights i was there. Not restful. I don't plan to come back due to the cost of the room not worth what i got compared to other hotels in the area with hot tubs in them. Management needs to revitalize the breakfast and replace many of the staff members. Also, a deposit was required and in all my past stays was not required. Would of been good to know in advance.

This hotel advertised airport shuttle, it does not. Ended up being brought to another la Quinta and had to pay for a taxi. The shower was full of hair from the past guest.

Nice, clean, well lit, with a lot of food and shopping nearby. A bit of road noise, but nothing from the airport. Staff took care of a minor issue without hesitation. Pool/hot tub was nice and clean.

The stay was good. The staff were friendly once I got helped. I waited to check in for longer than seemed necessary, with 2 staff working & no one in front of me. One staff buzzed around doing multiple things & the other searched on the computer for a form & answered the phone. Finally, the manager or someone at a higher level asked if I had been helped & when I answered no, he got the other 2 staff to help get me checked in. The actual check in process was fine.

The lady who checked me in was very nice and accommodating. However, she did not tell me or give me anything that stated I had to ASK for my room to be cleaned or clean towels given. I had to go downstairs the 2nd day for clean towels. (they don't dry well in Houston) my room was never cleaned. On Christmas day I asked if it would be possible to have the trash emptied and get clean towels. The girl shoved a piece of paper at me that said I would have had to arrange it prior to the 25th. I understood it was Christmas, but again I was never informed of this. The times I went through the lobby to ask there was no one there. One night I was out of toilet paper so I called the front desk. He told me he would bring it "in a few minutes". FORTY minutes later I went downstairs where 2 employees were talking. I asked for my toilet paper. One employee giggled and said "OH! I knew someone needed it, but I couldn't remember the room!" extremely poor customer service.
