The office smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was trash behind the night stand and under the bed. There was a fork on the floor from past stays that had food residue on it. The tub had black crumbles from the ceiling in it like it hadnt been cleaned. One plus is the bed was comfy.
Massive cracks in the ceiling, some of the worst paint I’ve seen, and the general condition of the property is about as bad as you could possibly imagine.
There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived, the tub looked as if it had never been cleaned , and the floors were filthy.

Not a great stay
I think the check in person was new. I was the only one there and it took for ever because I think he wasn't sure what he was doing.
The place could use some sprucing up. I didn't know if it needed cleaning or just replacement of things like the bathroom.
We took pictures of the facility. The towels were stained, no light at vanity, no hair dryer, shower had dead bugs, no coffee or breakfast. Trash from last oppunite in shower. Parking lot was deep holes full of water.
There was no breakfast as indicated when I made reservations.
The bath smelled of urine, but Management just gave me a squirt bottle to resolve the issue myself. But the liquid in the bottle was not chlorine, just some sort of other liquid in a Chlorix bottle. Never stay there again.
I booked a two-night stay but had to leave after the first night due to poor room conditions. The lights in the room didn’t work properly—I had to use my phone flashlight to get around. The bathtub was clogged and completely unusable, and even after reporting it to the front desk, nothing was done. I reached out to Hotels.com for help, but the automated support was unhelpful. I ended up booking another room through Hotels.com for the next night. Very disappointed with the experience and lack of resolution.
everything was nice fron the room to the sauna, and close to degray lake...didn't get woke up by drunks or screaming kids, 1st room a/c didn't work told lady at desk and was moved imedietly with no hassle, will be using it again at the time i had my daughter with me, she was never bored

I wouldn't stay here again
This hotel was very noisy since the rooms go out to an outside landing. People were partying for hours standing outside their room and you have people walking past your room all night long. The room is very, very, very basic, very cheap beds and either very old or very cheap linens. It's a truck drivers stop and believe me, I don't have anything against truck drivers, they're housed in the cheapest lodging possible. But, they come in at all hours of the night so the noise was constant. We booked this room because it was cheap and we're an old retired couple. We decided after this experience that it would be well worth the extra money to upgrade in the future.

Sheets had stains
Through Expedia, For the money it was a good place to stay. Need to invest in bed linen
I was very hesitant in the first place but really had no choice because it was homecoming at my daughter's college and there were no hotels available. It was definitly not renovated. Very run down. I can say it was very well insulated and quiet in the room. The one thing that made me vow to never stay there again was, we stayed for two evenings, the maid came in to clean give us new towels. She removed the trash, changed the towels but just threw the covers back on the bed!!!! I then wondered if the sheets were clean!!!! Very sad because I go to that town quite often to visit my daughter but I can tell you I left that hotel feeling very dirty and that I may be bringing some extra friends back home with me. (Bed bugs)

Very disappointing stay
I called the hotel direct and asked for the 2 rooms to be on the bottom floor, when we got there they only gave us one, because when I called they thought I only rented one, that was the excuse they gave anyway. We had to take a room upstairs and away from the other couple with us, my husband does not do stairs very well, because of health reason, but he did it anyway. Our room had 2 light bulbs out. The tub was very slippery like they didn't rinse out what they cleaned it with. I almost fell in there. The drain ran slow, so you had to take a shower in ankle deep water. Not enough towels. The central air unit face cover was almost off. My husband put it back on right. The other couples room, the hot water was slow to warm up. It was a handicapped room with was not asked for. The should ask you if you would mind this before it's offered to you. [...]
We arrived at 6:30 P.M. I requested a room on street level and of course our room was on the second floor. I inquired if there was another room but because I had "prepaid" the computer wouldn't "let" them change the room. The room was extremely hot. We left and came back around 9:30 and the room was still very hot. Only after throwing a first-rate hissy fit did they finally come up to the room to verify the a/c wasn't working. At 11:30 they finally gave us a different room. We had to move all our stuff downstairs to the room I originally requested. The reason I didn't want to stay upstairs was because I have really bad knees. The additional trips up and down the stairs to move our stuff left me in tears, literally. We were not notified about the additional pet charge until we checked in. No wonder they allow pets! The stay was so bad we will never stay in ANY Days Inn again. [...]
Overall this hotel i would grade a C. It was very affordable and the rooms were well maintained and cleaned daily. Enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. The pool was small but enjoyable as well as the hot tub.

Don't expect much.....
Everything went smooth upon arrival...my wife and I checked in to our room, which was quite dated but seemed to be clean (at least for the most part) except for the strong smell on Ben-gay ointment. After turing down the A/C and begining to relax (after the long drive) the room cooled some but then no more. I called the front desk and they sent someone up to look at the air conditioner and then moved us to another room. The good news is that the A/C worked great in this room..the bad news is that it looked even more dated than the first one. This is a room that will suffice if price is the most important concern otherwise I would probably chose one of the several new hotels that are located within two blocks.
