This hotel is cheap, and you get what you pay for. I mean, it wasn't terrible but don't expect it to be as nice as a $100 room when you're only paying $50. It's old. The furniture was falling apart but the bed was comfy and the shower worked real well and it was a large room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I've stayed in nicer $50 hotel rooms, but I've also stayed in worse. The location is great if you plan on visiting bathhouse row. Only about a 1 mile drive.
I could make a number of criticisms - the unpleasant odor one experiences upon entering the room, the generally unsavory clientele, the seemingly disoriented woman behind the desk - but the truth is, this is a cheap place to stay within walking distance of the heart of the city, and that's what really matters. My companion assured me she had been to worse.
Just don't expect anything resembling luxury.
Horrible hotel. Looked like it was vacant. The Bates motel looks better. Need serious remodeling!!!! Room was sorta clean. Base boards were nasty. Beds were clean and floor had just been mopped. Walls freshly painted but very sloppy. Toilet sink & tiles were from the 50s and not in good condition. Man at front was very nice though. Brought us extra towels. Overall not too happy.
The room had a bad smell upon opening the door. The room colors were very odd but I did not care bout that. Bed was very HARD and only had a spread and sheet on it. NO electrical outlets were within reach for computers and phone charging. One electric outlet needed to be replaced since it was so worn out. The breakfast was a joke (meaning it was never there). Walls were patched and visible. Nightstand had a drawer facing missing. We had to wake the employee at 7;30am to check out.
I stay in Hotels several weekends a month for business. This is one of the worst ever. Room was not only dated the sink had a leak. Only some of the outlets did not work. The room was filthy. The laminate floors were beyond dirty. Socks and any shoes worn in the room were black on the bottom. :There was absolutely no breakfast provided. I had to actually wake up the clerk at 7:30 am to check out. The office is kept locked at all times. Daily house cleaning was just supplying new towels. The soap was so hard that it did not even lather when washing your hands. There was not satellite TV. They promise a lot on their posting but fall way too short on delivery.
This hotel didn't have a phone in the room, the neighborhood looked unsafe, gang signs were spray painted on the wall on the back side....don't expect to eat breakfast there..the yard surrounding the hotel is cluttered and it looks as if they have a garden they are growing...
This was a very bad room, it was a rip off. No lamp, one very bright florscent overhead hospital type light. No phone, no iron, not enough towels. It was in a word, ghetto.
Front desk, pleasant, New frig and microwave, no coffee pot, bed good, bathroom has black mold around tub and soap holder ,mold spots on tile in shower area, floor dirty especially in bathroom, gallon of bleach and tube of caulking would have made a world of difference. No extras only got clean towels, no straighting of room or extra glasses or soap and no hangers at all for cloths. Every place I have been at least had hangers! Had to go to dollar store to get hangers and soap for bathtub, next time will spend the extra dollar!
This motel was old, not clean, air condition parts on floor

Clean but dreary
A clean hotel but off the beaten track for downtown if you want to walk. Decor is old and dreary but clean and comfortable. Lady running it was nice. Not much more to say really. Why mark us put a minimum of 59 words of we can get by with less? Gfgggggggggg

Room furnishings and area are very dated.
When we got there, we noticed the bathroom had a leak coming from under wall. Weird but we called the manager and they sent someone to fix it while we were gone to the convention center. The furnishings and area are very dated, a little scary, if your a woman staying there by yourself. I even forgot to lock my boxes on my motorcycle overnight and when I came out, fearing the worst, every thing was fine. I was pleasantly surprised. They had mini fridge and microwaves in the rooms which is a plus (didn't even have those in the fancy casino rooms in Vegas), and they had clean linens, just wish they would fancy the place up a little to make it more pleasing to the eye.
