"Amazing host, wonderful property, absolutely perfect place to stay for a wilpattu safari."

"If you want something really special in the doorstep of Wilpattu National Park, this is your answer. Our deluxe tree house suite was literally in the trees ( warning about monkeys visiting your balcony). Sampath was amazing in offering, preparing and presenting wonderful meals. What a treasure he is. Shehan was so helpful, with luggage and anything else that we wanted. Nelson was always there to greet and say goodbye. If you are afraid of bugs and lizards, don't stay in the treehouse rooms. But,...

"I stayed only one night but wished I stayed an extra one. The staff were so accommodating and extremely friendly. I really loved the afternoon walk around the village where I saw my first elephant of my Sri Lankan trip and evening walk around the gardens looking at the nocturnal animals. I would highly recommend staying here!!"

"Good hotel"

"Very generous space, and lovely staff. Place is a bit more dated than the photos show but still lovely to stay in."

"Amazing place to stay if you plan to do a Safari in Wilpattu. The tent is very beautiful, the staff is super atentious and you can feel very close to nature. Calm and relaxing stay! I totally recomend it!"

"Great hotel safe and clean! Staff really took care of me as a single female guest! Highly recommended!"

"Very clean, in the middl of the green, great staff and close to the NP. "

"Quality hotel with spacious and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely pool but it opened too late for us to be able to use it. We organised a day safari via the hotel, it’s a handy 15 minute drive to the park entrance. Good food in the restaurant, friendly and polite service from all the hotel team."

"The staff was top notch and made sure everything was taken care of for us and made the experience that much better. The property is located close to the park entrance which is very convenient. The sounds and feel are very connected to nature. I would highly recommend if you are in the area and plan on doing a safari. "

"I had a blast staying here. The night hike was added bonus. Very nice place with good food. "

"Nice, clean and comfortable place to stay, right next to the ancient city for Anuradhapura."

"Lovely Staff. Great place"

"Part of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner. This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it."

"This is an unique place to be! Such lovely people, you feel overwhelmed with kindness and hospitallity! And a chance to go to Willpathu N.P. We were there for 2 nights and will never forget our stay with these lovely people! And they make you tradditional food and snacks... An unique experience!"

"Staff are really friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 One of the best places to enjoy your holiday. If you're going to wilpatthu safari you can have your stay there before the day your safari."

"This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "

"How can such property be even shown on the website?"

"Location to national park was great. The rooms were very ‘unique’ and rustic. The property would have been great in its heyday however appeared quite rundown and needed a good clean. A good Garden and grounds clean up would not go astray."

"The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. "
