"Ceylon Resort was an absolute pleasure to stay at! The gift that kept giving, the staff, the food, the location. The hotel. Would 100% recommend for all, the staff helped us with safari organisation, providing dinner as well as breakfast. An absolutely safe environment for all walks of life, even helped us fixed out tuktuk!!!! Would highly recommend to all, and couldn’t recommend more."

"I stayed only one night but wished I stayed an extra one. The staff were so accommodating and extremely friendly. I really loved the afternoon walk around the village where I saw my first elephant of my Sri Lankan trip and evening walk around the gardens looking at the nocturnal animals. I would highly recommend staying here!!"

"Amazing place to stay if you plan to do a Safari in Wilpattu. The tent is very beautiful, the staff is super atentious and you can feel very close to nature. Calm and relaxing stay! I totally recomend it!"

"Room was very clean, had a little bit of a strange smell when we first arrived and the bathroom smelled a little bit like drainage. We opened the window in the washroom and kept the door locked so it wasn't a problem. Staff is lovely and has a nice dog as well! We did the Safari through the hotel and it was a great experience! "Part of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner. This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it."

"This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "

"The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. "
