"This was a great experience for our family. The camp is well maintained in a nice area. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of green space to relax in. It was very close to a bus stop and store which was convenient. Electric chargers are near by too at the CK."

"While the hotel is in a beautiful location and it’s a very interesting hotel, we were very disappointed to find out after we arrived that the entire staff was on strike and had been on strike for weeks. It was never mentioned in the booking and it certainly impeded on our visit. No room cleaning, the hotel restaurant only served 2 items on the dinner menu; hamburgers and a fish dish. The bar was out of vodka and the bartender said he was sorry but they weren’t getting any more for a few days (after our departure). The one breakfast we had was served on paper plates and service of course was lacking. Again, the location was terrific, but I felt like I was taken because the rate was still the same, but literally no service. I would stay at an another location in the future. The management really didn’t make any apologies for the shortcomings while charging full price."

"Checking in was a nightmare. The property sent messages in Norwegian, with no translation available. When I messaged asking for check in details in English, they just resent the information in Norwegian. The check-in code was located one layer down in a message I couldn’t understand. I basically had to just click a button and hope for the best. The check-in code should have been prominently displayed at the top of the message."

"This was the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. I hopped on the Metro from Oslo City then walked the 10 mins in an amazing Spring mist which gave a fairytale feel to the hotel (to others it may have been horror movie esque as long roads, can't see very far etc but each to their own). After checking in the spotless room (check in was unbelievably straightforward) and marvelling in the serenity of the peace and quiet I checked out the pool, gym and sauna which are all very well maintained and just added to the overall experience. The area surrounding the hotel has trials and forests aplenty so if you're hiking, base yourself here as the views are outstanding even on the metro journey up too! Can not recommend the hotel enough!"
