"The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. "It’s an old property with limited amenities. But it’s well kept and clean. Price is on higher side based on what they offer. Food at restaurants and breakfast are very good. So don’t go out for food if you are staying here."

"We loved how friendly all of the staff were in the hotel. The family who run the hotel clearly care very much about each and every guest and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are all lovely people who keep their hotel really clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. I really loved the dining room and pub decor and our breakfasts were served fresh and hot, so 10/10 for the breakfasts!
