"We were greeted with...we don't have room for you.....they found a space at Nynashamn Campground in a cabin on the coast.....50 to 60 kms from Stockholm . A train pass cost an extra 350€ so we could visit Stockholm for 2 days. We got up at 4a to drive to Stockholm to catch a 7.30a ferry Fri. The staff at Nynashamn Campground did all they could to make our stay better."

Even more than this, the staff are fantastic! Everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful, always with a smile. There is a coffee shop and supermarket next door and the tram stops right outside the door. It’s about 20 minutes to the touristy area (one metro train and one tram for one stop).
