"Truly the best of both worlds. You get the peaceful experience of being surrounded by lush rice paddies, yet you’re just a short walk or quick drive to the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town. Perfect for exploring the tailors, bars, and shops. The breakfast selection was impressive! A very wide variety of options that were genuinely delicious and kept us full well into the afternoon. Having access to complimentary bicycles and a daily shuttle made getting into town effortless. The aesthetic wooden doors are quite thin, and sound carries easily. I’d highly recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Given the rural location, expect to share your room with ants and mosquitoes. Definitely pack some bug spray!"

"I was a little disappointed in our stay here. Much more basic than the pictures depicted. Rooms clean. Staff friendly. Plugs for electronics in weird awkward spots. Air conditioner was filthy and my husband had to clean it. Very noisy- a lot of the rooms close to the busy road (but Vietnam tends to quiet down after 10pm so no issues sleeping). Nice and close to the heart of Hoi An for a reasonable price- I would have paid a little more for something a little nicer had I known the pictures don’t really show the true nature of the hotel. But it’s a fine enough place to stay for a few nights. "

"Staff super friendly and tried their best. Location great with easy walk to old town and night market but that is where it stops. Property filthy, torn towels, holes in sheets, bathroom mouldy and dirty, can write your name in dust throughout the room, curtains old torn and stained, and net above bed dust filled. Photos on Expedia nothing like what you see on arrival. We don’t know who writes the customer reviews but the so many 10/10 reviews cannot be possibly written by guests or be true. We did not try the included breakfast as if the rooms are anything to go by we didn’t trust what may come from a kitchen area not visible to a guest. We are not generally fussy people and understand that the hotel is old, but there is old and clean and old and extremely dirty. This hotel needs a good clean from top to bottom. We love Vietnam but this hotel certainly left us nothing but super disappointed to the point we stayed one night and checked out before the end of our reservation. Do yourself a favour and avoid this one."

"The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were generally helpful. However, it seems that not all staff fully understand what “gluten-free” means. I became unwell after being told that the vegetarian quiche was gluten-free, only to later discover that it was not. There are limited gluten-free options available, mainly pho and some gluten-free cakes and bread. Additionally, there was little attention to the risk of cross-contamination, with gluten-free items placed alongside regular food and no separate tongs provided. I continued to feel unwell until I specifically requested that my bread be prepared and heated separately in the kitchen. While the hotel itself is well maintained, it felt overpriced for a five-star property, as there was nothing particularly special about the experience to justify the cost."
