I had a great week in Macq01, staff are all nice and helpful. There are many restaurants or bar choices inside the hotel. Great seaview with quiet environment, great for family to enjoy the holiday ( I was with a 20-month-old baby).

How is this place not 5 stars! Gorgeous and generous rooms with a unique storytelling experience. Exceptionally helpful staff, stunning views and within walking distance of much of Hobart has to offer. Highly recommended for couples and families alike. The only downside experienced would be the noise (we experienced a lot of early morning machinery from the buildings opposite the hotel that prevented sleep-ins)

Great hotel in the heart of Hobart

We had a great stay at MACq 01 hotel. The room was very spacious with amazing views over the bay. Check in and out experience was good and the breakfast and dinner served in the restaurants was delicious. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in Hobart
