"We stay at this property every time we visit Asheville. This was our first stay since the name change. I was a bit skeptical because we weren’t sure what to expect in terms of quality and service, but this was one of our best stays in the 11 years we’ve been staying here. My husband and I decided to add an extra day at the last minute and Expedia and the service desk at the property accomoated us and made the process seamless. The front desk gave us a room on the top floor with a view of the mountain which made the stay even more exceptional. We arrived Saturday at checkin and stayed thru Wednesday and it was peaceful, quiet and comfortable. The cleaning staff was also friendly and helpful each day of our stay. Thank you to Gliza from Expedia as well as Rowynne Copeland and Deonte from Lantern Lodge. Deonte always makes us feel welcomed and appreciated. "

"As I write this review, it keeps mentioning a "mountain view". I don't think the location warrants a mountain view, although it is a peaceful setting away from congestion. The entrance and common areas were well decorated with great ambiance. The room was a standard hotel room with all the necessities and comfort. Nothing special but met my single overnight needs. The best part was the price (under $100) and I was luckily given a free breakfast. The breakfast buffet was quite nice and it had wonderful fresh fruit. I give 5 stars to the fresh fruit! lol"

"The staff and restaurant was great. However, when we arrived in our room the bed pillows had several hairs on them. I called the front desk and they promptly sent hospitality to resolve. We had no other issues during our stay. We loved also the convenience of everything being within walking distance too."

"Very upscale room and amenities. Location is perfect and close to all the action and restaurants. "

"The only issue I had was that our room had a conjoining door to another room. The only thing I can assume is two girls were out on the town and came back drunk, banging on the door and once a boyfriend or a friend let them in. They were screaming at the top of their lungs in general conversation at 1:30 in the morning. That lasted for about an hour to an hour and a half. Originally, I thought they were in the hallway until I realize. But normally our experience there is great it’s amazing. It’s really good."
