"By far the best experience I have had in the mountains on the south of Dominican Republic. Peaceful, away from civilization. Great to connect with nature. The people that greeted us were kind, trustful. "

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort & Aquagames - All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"I would never recommend this property to anyone .Rooms have mold ,smells so bad when you just walked in ,of course you get use to the scent after a while food is horrible, some of the staff are so racist and to make it worse the day before I leave a house keeper was cleaning my room I caught her with my bag in her hand when I checked my purse 70 was missing so my advice to anyone going there keep your money are valuables close."
"Beach was great. Lounging chairs easily available. Good variety of food. Pleasant staff.
But staff not responsive to complaints such as phone not working, fan not working, broken lock on balcony door etc.
And there were some cockroaches in one of the rooms."
Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino - All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"Check in process was terrible. We ran into issues with payments, however the man checking us in once we got to our room he called the room and said they weren’t bringing our bags we had to go get them from lobby then stated they didn’t charge us correctly his exact words “all I know you owe 380.00” very rude on the phone. Worst experience only nice person was Tony. Kids show we all felt like we were sitting in the dark. Buffet was dark, food was the same every day. Food was maybe a 1star. Needless to say I don’t leave reviews and this says a lot how terrible it was with water also shutting off, room flooded list goes on. "
Finest Punta Cana by The Excellence Collection - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"Well where do I begin? It was a frustrating experience in the beginning; however on our way towards the end of our stay we started warming up to the place.
Our flight arrived before check-in time. We reached out to see if there was any possibility of having an early check-in and they told us they would do their best to see if it were possible. I understand if not totally understandable but we got to the hotel at 12:00 in the afternoon. We were told there were no rooms ready but they would have one available shortly. I don't remember her name but she had indicated that we would be able to get into our room earlier than check-in time.
An hour passes by and we are told roughly around 2:00 p.m. that they were still cleaning the room and putting on the finishing touches at 3:00 p.m. It's now officially check-in time. My wife and I are frustrated because why tell us we would be able to check in early when it wasn't ready? Just be honest and say you don't have any rooms ready until 3:00 p.m. Check-in at 3:30 p.m. comes along; still no updates so we have to go to the desk to inquire about the status of our room. We're told 10 more minutes. Next we're dealing with another guy because the lady had left and didn't tell anyone about our situation. The guy who was helping us next had no idea and said he would check on the status of the room he "
"Overall i give this a solid 4 star. The beach and location were 5 star but food was just so so and like most all inclusive the alcohol was bottom shelf. The buffets didn’t have a ton of selection but rather the same foods over and over in different sections. The sit down restaurants were actually pretty good. We love the Italian(not referring to the pizza place Focacia) along with the Indian cuisine was really good. They also have a Cafe that does espresso that was great and they had awesome crepes and waffles there. Additionally by the food trucks each day they did more of an authentic Dominican meal options that was made fresh and it was always one of my favorites. The staff for the most part were really good with only a few that weren’t great. The resort itself was really nice, nice finishes and ambiance and i understand being on the ocean and with the high humidity its hard to keep things up but there could be a bit more attention to detail in the painting of the rooms and cleaning. Again overall it’s a solid 4 stars and i find it very difficult to give a 5 star to any resort or hotel. My wife and enjoyed our stay and would go back especially when you look at the cost compared to other resorts."
