"Let me start by saying if youโre looking for a high-end luxury resort this property is not it. The room was rather Spartan and the bathing facilities are shared and public (as in public to the hotel). That said the staff, even with their marginal language skills were amazingly accommodating, and the view from the top of the hill that this hotel sits on is unparalleled! It was a beautiful location in an amazing place that gave us tremendous opportunity to explore the entire area."

"Staying at this resort was one of the highlights of our trip. A lot of thoughtful treats. The half board was just excellent with great fresh ingredients. The location is near the Angel Road. We enjoyed very much the onsen. Sitting at the common areas and enjoying the drinks were just relaxing. Highly recommended if u need a stay away and a memorable experience at Shodoshima."
