We loved Empire Beach Resort! Our room was unexpectedly huge, the entire property was so beautifully landscaped, great beach front and lounge chairs. Also an awesome breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing property on the beach with amazing hidden pools whican becm rented for extra. The only issue was our room had ants which was not nice.

Had a great stay and everyone was hospitable! Was worried looking at some reviews online, but in my opinion it’s an amazing place to unwind and relax. Property was well maintained and clean and staff were good. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice resort in a developing area. The room is big, with a nice balcony facing the pool. The hotel has a small gym with dumbbells and a couple of machines, it works for some basic workout. The beach is beautiful, and breakfast is included. The AC wasn’t working properly in the lobby, and the room was not cold enough to my personal preference, but we had a beautiful stay anyway. The staff in the reception were very welcoming and helpful.

Beach club great but rooms not as high quality as expected restaurant don’t open till 8pm either. No kettle in rooms either. Great pool and beach but addition payment for beds in the other pool.

Die Anlage an sich war wirklich sehr schön, es wirkte sehr sauber, Pool und Strand war beides schön. Leider hatten wir vom Essen im Hoteleigenenrestaurant eine Lebensmittelvergiftung. Als ich dies meldete kam keine Entschuldigung. Die Zimmer wurden sauber gemacht, man hat jedoch gemerkt dass nicht unbedingt jeden Tag die Laken oder Handtücher gewechselt wurden. Die Sanur Bar am Strand war wirklich teuer, wenn man in Betracht zieht, dass man in Albanien ist. Fazit: wir würden kein 2. Mal herkommen. Die Qualität insgesamt ist noch weit entfernt vom Europäischen Standard.

The hotel is in a great location right on the beach and has a nice pool. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the service felt quite indifferent and lacked the same level of hospitality. The hotel restaurant is convenient and the food was decent, but both the food and drinks were priced well above the local restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was included, but we found the quality disappointing. We both felt unwell afterward, although we can't say for certain it was related to the breakfast. One thing that was frustrating was that guests were not allowed to take the complimentary bottled water out of the breakfast area, despite the local tap water not being recommended for visitors. It felt unnecessarily restrictive, especially since bottled water was then sold elsewhere on the property. Overall, the location is the hotel's biggest strength, but we expected a higher level of service and better value for the price.

to be five-star. The staff were generally unwelcoming and often impolite; hardly anyone smiled, and even the most basic level of service you would expect from a three-star hotel was missing. There is only one restaurant, which they say needs to be booked in advance, making the whole experience unnecessarily complicated for hotel guests. We also felt that local Albanian guests were treated noticeably more warmly than foreign tourists, which left a very unpleasant impression. The facilities are equally disappointing. The gym is extremely small, windowless and poorly equipped. The manicure/hairdressing area nearby felt dated, poorly maintained and not particularly clean. Overall, the property itself looks old and in need of serious renovation. Everything inside the hotel is also very expensive compared with local prices, without the quality or service to justify it. Several other international guests we spoke to were equally disappointed, and some even decided to shorten their stay. Unfortunately, we did the same with our trip in Albania. This property may carry a five-star label, but the service, facilities and overall experience are nowhere near five-star standards. I absolutely would not recommend it. There is a lot of work to do before the experience matches the prices and positioning.
