"The property was exactly as described, clean , nice beds , hot water , excellent location , old building , great car park , probably a good 3 star . An exhibition was on 3000 people in the city so prices unusually high but if normal pricing it would reflect great value"

"I suppose good value for the cost however I wouldn’t go back. There were lights on all night outside the rooms and the curtains didn’t block it so quite a nuisance. Also the facilities in the kitchen were lacking. The only way to prepare food was with a microwave so quite limiting."

"Have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past with no issues .
Unfortunately this stay didn’t meet expectations.
The tv didn’t work,
1 pillow provided with no extras available in room
The bed was strangely super low to the ground
The peep hole in back of door was stuffed with toilet paper.
Not saying we wouldn’t stay here again but the hotel needs to put some effort to making it a descent place to stay."

"A huge thank you to the Owner/Manager, who was exceptionally helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We were very grateful to be offered an early check-in and late check-out, which made a world of difference. My father had just turned 90 and had undergone surgery, and we were travelling down from Auckland. The flexibility with our check-in and check-out times made visiting him during hospital visiting hours so much easier and way less stressful.
We stayed in the Deluxe One-Bedroom, which...
