"W hi at an incredible surprise when we checked in. So much greater than the pics The History of the place, and all the amenities. The room was spectacular looking over the park and canal. So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us. Thankyou so much for such a memorable time."

We didn’t like that we could not get just a coffee and a snack morning, noon or night. Some of the staff were not helpful With information and seemed perplexed with simple questions about the city. It seemed strange not to have a front desk for check In and questions etc . "
