"Absolutely beautiful hotel - our room was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in in Greece. Great location near the port. Would have appreciated having someone help us with our luggage getting into and out of the hotel."

"Stayed one night prior to a ferry trip. Very close to the port. Well-constructed property and well-furnished room. Decent value for money. Slight cons: road noise (on a busy road, but does settle down later in the evening). Front desk not staffed and entrance requires a code - had to call number listed on door - might be an issue for travelers without phone service. Limited self-parking. Despite these issues, would stay again for an early morning ferry departure from the port."

Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. "The spa was excellent. Loved using the pool and jacuzzi (no extra charge). The breakfast was also excellent and included a wonderful fresh made buffet spread and made to order food. The room was nice and the staff pleasant. The rooftop bar had nice views. Parking was the only tricky thing - very limited & first come first serve."

"Clean space overall Hot tub had a strange smell to it so unfortunately didn’t use it Front desk was closed upon arrival and departure due to late night/early morning arrivals and departures so we was asked to leave 2 euros for nightly “environmental fee”, we left the 2 euros as asked and was still charged on our invoice for the fee. "Loved everything about this property, including the banana tree which we ate fresh bananas from. My only issues were the extremely small shower and no ac in the bedroom. Once in the shower, it is difficult to move. You are unable to bend over, there's limited space for turning around, or lifting your legs. We eventually figured out a system but it was messy.
