The best accommodation we had during our visit to Denmark - yes, I didn't mistake Sweden for Denmark - our accommodation in Copenhagen was cancelled in the last minute, so I found this "hostel" in the neighbouring Helsingborg by accident, but we're now so grateful that we found it.

What was essentially a decent budget friendly hotel, albeit in a slightly seedy location, was spoiled by an extremely flawed and confusing automated check-in process.

Overall a great stay, it was clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were decent and private. Included breakfast was also great and had a large variety of options. Parking was convenient but a bit difficult to get big bags up from basement as no there was no elevator and direct connection with lobby. However it was cheap and as the name implies on the higher end. Would recommend and would stay all there again.

Great stay, definitely worth the money!

It was very clean, nice big room. There were three of us, all ha plenty of space. We got information that the hostel was fully booked, but there were never any queues to toilet or shower. Great breakfast in a cosy environment. Definitely worth the money! Oh, and only about 5 minute walk from the station.

The receptionist was welcoming and friendly enough. The rest rooms and showers are pretty cramped and could do with a bit of renovating. Room was cleanish but had hair silver fish on the floor. It served its purpose for us. But Luxury is a bit of an overstatement to say the least!

Had a frustrating experience. We requested to Expedia to reach out to the property and asked if they could issue a refund as we will not be able to check-in as it was very far from Stockholm. We asked for flexibility, but since our booking was non-refundable and doesn’t allow any exceptions, they’re sticking with their strict cancellation policy and won’t issue a refund. Will be extra mindful next time. 🙂

Comfy bed, ok room, bad shower/toilet facilities

Complicated access after reception closed. Had to call to get a PIN code sent. Code never arrived. Had to call again to get code on phone. Code did not work for main entrance, only for key card box inside - but I was lucky to be let in the main door by other guests. Sink in one bathroom was leaking all over the floor. Other bathroom had no soap in the dispenser. Yes, it is really cheap and you get what you pay for I suppose. On the bright side, the bed was comfy and the room suprisingly spacious.

Den stora (och sköna) sängen var lite för stor för rummet (eller tvärt om). Det kändes lite obekvämt att åla sig mellan sängens fotända och väggen. Toalett och dusch i korridoren funkade, men morgonrockar till låns hade varit trevligt. Avloppet i duschen fungerade dåligt och hela golvet blev fullt av vatten. Frukosten var jättefin och god. Stort plus för den.

Vi hade en helt ok upplevelse. Billigt och bekvämt. Rummet var litet men det visste vi om. Frukosten var mycket bra men jag uppskattade inte att frukost personalen la upp all mat med fingrarna. Inga redskap eller handskar. Kändes lite ofräscht även om hon säkert tvättade händerna då och då så tog hon i olika livsmedel samt behållare och dyl i direkt kontakt. Inte trevligt. Borde nog omses. Trevlig personal i receptionen. Tillmötesgående och omtänksam om sina kunder.
